This listing is for a set of FOUR (4) USED original equipment 15" wire spoke wheel covers w/ gold trimmed Cadillac center caps (stock #SO4-8185) removed from a 1983 Cadillac Seville. GM originally offered them on the 1981-1985 Cadillac Eldorado & 1981-1985 Cadillac Seville models equipped with the 15" standard steel wheels. Having come from a Seville, the removeable center emblems are trimmed in GOLD. Eldorado models used the same cap, but the gold areas would be CHROME. This style cap, unlike most others, can also be used on other Cadillac models, both earlier and later, as long as the vehicle is equipped w/ the 15" standard steel wheels that originally used full wheel covers. They will fit both FWD & RWD models. There are a few exceptions to this, so p lease check with me and/or verify compatibility prior to purchase. There are various superficial blemishes on each one of the caps from brushes with curbs over the years. The top right cap has a crease on the outer stainless lip from impact with a high curb (see close-up photos). The other three caps have their share of flaws, but to a lesser degree. All four of them have brake dust accumulation inside the spokes that will take some scrubbing to remove. The ones that were on the front wheels are dirtier than the ones from the rear. These are primarily BANG ON style caps that secure with retaining clips located on the retaining band on the back sides of the caps. All of the retaining clips are in place, and they were removed from the vehicle exactly as you see them. That being said, the lower right cap has some cancerous rust that has eaten through the retaining band in a few areas which can be seen in the close-up photo provided. The retaining band on the top right cap is still solid and the clips are in place, but it looks as though it was pried off too roughly which bent the retaining band in a few areas. It looks as though the previous owner straightened these bends out before I got them. In any event, the caps were still held on by the clips alone when I removed them from the donor vehicle. This style cap could also, in addition to the retaining clips, be locked onto retaining brackets that were secured to the wheel using security lock bolts and a specialized key to prevent theft and/or loss. If you have this hardware, you can lock them onto your wheels, BUT none of the lock hardware is included or available in this listing!!! The caps included would make for great restoration candidates or spares. They are NOT a new or show quality items. These are genuine GM parts! Dealer list before being discontinued was $364 per wheel cover and an additional $38 per center cap!!! Please see all photos provided and address any and all questions or concerns PRIOR to purchase.
