MES SAGE ME. ** ** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world.....they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive rim design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** WHEEL COVER SET RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels= Pretty Good (A--), Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent or Excellent (A/A- or A) / Show Quality (A+). Grade B levels (Driver Grade Level) = Average condition/fair condition (B-, B) / Good shape (B+) / Pretty Good (B++). All "B" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade.. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal, not paint (if applicable). COMPATABILITY: 1967-1978 (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD rims ONLY). ITEM DETAILS: This auction is for FOUR wheel covers . The set is (overall average) in the Pretty Good " A-/A-- " grade zone (2 of the Wheel Covers are "A--, and the other two are "A-". W heel covers in this zone are not in Excellent Condition, but slightly lower in the range of Pretty Good to Very Good. Each will have a minor cosmetic issue(s) as described in the listing. But that certainly doesn't stop them from being a very attractive set of wheel covers for your Eldorado. PHYSICAL CONDITION: This is a very sharp looking set. Lighter damage (in this Grade Zone) might be faint random hammer/mallet dings, maybe a few spokes with a twist or scuff, some light stone nicks, a crown or face ding / metal imperfection, etc. All have a shiny polished face (95%+ reflectivity) with color restored Cadillac Crest emblems - so they look very vibrant. You can see the clouds, trees and my cell phone easily in the reflections. That is about the extent of typical damage in the "A-- or A-" range. A quick assessment is below. Specific details - Anything NOT noted is in Very Good condition or Excellent. Pics will show the areas noted below. Stock # Grade Notes #2307B3 A- Excellent Outer Rim - no hammer dents or rash. Great spokes, none bent or missing. Excellent Crown Edge, no rash/scrapes. Center Face is Excellent except for a dent/slice in a small slightly raised circular area (2" across) to the top right of the Crest. Awesome shine, great emblem. #2211G1 A-- Very Very Good Outer Rim with 1 light mallet dimple in the top left area. Spokes are Great, none bent or missing. The Crown Edge and the Center Face are both Near Excellent, with only a few faint scratches near a weak crease line in the top left area. Awesome shine, great emblem. #2204U2 A-- Very Good Outer Rim, with about faint 3 hammer dimple/nicks spots. Spokes are Great, none bent or missing. The Crown Edge and the Center Face are Really Nice, with some rash scratching along the far right side within the Center Face circles. Very Shiny, great emblem. #2201D1 A- Very Good Outer Rim with about 3 light hammer / mallet nick spots (top right one is more moderate). Spokes are Great, none bent or missing. Same for the Outer Crown Edge, it's great and free of curb rashing / scratches. The Center Face is Near Excellent, with only a raised spot at the bottom right, where it meets the indented circle. Awesome shine, great emblem. This set definitely has elegant appeal! Your Eldorado is a classy car, and deserves wheel covers that enhance that 1970's Cadillac Swag essence....this set will do that fine. Despite being 50+ years old, these VINTAGE wheel covers still have plenty of miles left on them. Expect some light wear & tear marks underneath the polishing. The wheel covers were test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc. A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get them to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have wheel balancing weights.
