Grade B levels= "Driver grade" -- good/presentable shape (B+, B++), average condition/fair condition (B). The "B" Grades level wheel covers will have more extensive & visible damage. ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE: 1977 (Fits all 1965-92 Cadillac 15" RWD rims). ORANGE COLOR NOTES: Cadillac only used Frost Orange paint during the 1977 model year - then it disappeared. (They also had Saffron that year, which is an orange-red color). This optional "body matching" wheel cover set was available for the Fleetwood line, but some customers bought them for their Deville series (look great on a Deville - see pics). The car pictures posted are a 1977 models that show off the color of the paint. It's a great color, vibrant and bold. NOTE: Regarding the pictures - the angle of the wheel cover(s) and/or the setting (outdoor shade, direct sun, reflected sun, flash) can make it appear that the colors are slightly different, but I assure you that they are not - they all match PERFECTLY. ITEM QUANTITY: This auction is for FOUR (4) wheel covers, in Grade "A" condition . WHEEL COVER SET GRADE LEVEL : "A" (Excellent) ITEM DESCRIPTION : These wheel covers are Time Machine material. They look excellent, as if you jumped back in time to purchase them. Each individual wheel cover grades at "A" level condition - you can't get better for a used wheel cover. There are no dents, no dings, no curb rash, no stains, etc. They all have a very bright shine to the stainless as you can see (this usually dulls and grays over time). The "Turbine" design hearkens back to the late 1950's, when Cadillac offered the famed chrome Sabre Wheels on the 1955-58 Eldorado & Fleetwood. The Frost Orange centers are actually thick 3M decals that had the paint embedded in them (this started in 1977)....so thus there are no nicks or chips in the paint. There are some faint wear and tear marks in the clear upper surface but you really have to have the wheel cover 1 foot away from your face to see any. The decals are all adhered strongly, no bubbling or warping. There is no fade in the Frost Orange coloring, which means this set probably was stored indoors (away from sunlight) for many years. I replaced the original crest emblems with some that were color restored, and the results were great - vibrant colors that scream Cadillac class. The chrome on them (and the wreaths) is shiny and free of pitting. QUICK CONDITION SYNOPSIS: TAG# GRADE NOTE #2305D2 A Excellent, no issues. #2305D3 A Excellent, 1 small scratch over crest. #2305D4 A Excellent, small slight water stain under right side of wreath. #2305D5 A Excellent, 1 water stain area (water got under decal) at lower left. For being made almost 47 years ago (Summer of 1976) this set has survived quite well. They will certainly enhance any rare 1977 Cadillac (non-Eldorado) that is lucky enough to have Frost Orange paint. Each of the wheel covers was test mounted on a RWD Cadillac 15" rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... Dirty and stinky wheel covers will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. Items will be shipped via Insured US Priority Mail. K eep your expectations realistic, this is a set of 40-50 year old wheel covers with very light use characteristics. NOTE: These are old-school wheel covers! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. Use a rubber mallet to install them and thus avoiding hammer dents. Caddypartz~~ The #1 eBay source for 1971-78 Cadillac parts~! 1977 Fleetwood Frost Orange Set of 4 Grade "A" PP
