~~ GET THE REAL DEAL RIGHT HERE! ORIGINAL 1970'S (AMERICAN MADE) FACTORY CADILLAC PARTS~~ WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION : Grade A levels= Pretty Good (A--), Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent (A/A-), Excellent (A). Grade B levels= "Driver grade" -- good/presentable shape (B+, B++), average condition/fair condition (B). The "B" Grades level wheel covers will have more extensive & visible damage. ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE: 1977 (Fits all 1965-92 Cadillac 15" RWD rims). COLOR NOTES: Cadillac only used Arizona Beige (1978) or Sonora Tan (1977) paint for 1 model year - then they disappeared. Let your eyes guide you - I have provided paint color charts for 1977 & 1978. There is also a picture of a 1977 Sonora Tan Deville and a 1978 Arizona Beige Deville. This wheel cover color is so rare that I could not find any 1977-78 Fleetwoods with either of these colors...let along a Fleetwood with this optional wheel cover! NOTE: This optional "body matching" wheel cover style was available for the Fleetwood line, but some customers bought them for their Deville series (same paint options). ITEM QUANTITY: This auction is for ONE (1) wheel cover in Grade "A-" condition . WHEEL COVER GRADE LEVEL : "A-" (Very Good) ITEM DESCRIPTION : This wheel cover is Time Machine material. It looks excellent, as if you jumped back in time to purchase it. I've graded it at "A-" level condition - which is Very Good shape. It's nearly perfect - the only imperfection is some metal wobble on 2 of the 42 spokes. Apparently a tire stem was stuck under those spokes when the former owner tried to put it on....so it bent the recessed metal a bit. I bet you didn't notice it in the pics...not too obvious. Aside from that , the rest of the wheel cover is Excellent. There are no other dents, no curb rash, no stains, etc. It has a very bright shine to the stainless as you can see (this usually dulls and grays over time). The "Turbine" design hearkens back to the late 1950's, when Cadillac offered the famed chrome Sabre Wheels on the 1955-58 Eldorado & Fleetwood. The wheel center is actually a thick 3M decal that had the paint embedded in it (this started in 1977)....so thus there are no nicks or chips in the paint. The decal is adhered strongly, no bubbling or warping. Great shine to the clear coating! There is no fade in the coloring / very even, which means this wheel cover was probably stored indoors (away from sunlight) for many years. The crest emblem has been color restored. The chrome on the wreath is very shiny and free of pitting. It's a stunner! For being made almost 47 years ago (Summer of 1976) this wheel cover has survived quite well. It will certainly enhance any rare 1977-78 Cadillac (non-Eldorado) that is lucky enough to have the same color of rare paint. Wheel cover was test mounted on a RWD Cadillac 15" rim and fit decently. It's been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... Dirty and stinky wheel covers will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well (you may have to further adjust them). K eep your expectations realistic, this is a 40-50 year old wheel cover with very light use (wear & tear) characteristics. NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheel....especially if you have balancing weights. Use a rubber mallet to install it and thus avoiding hammer dents. Caddypartz~~ The #1 eBay source for 1971-78 Cadillac parts~! 1977 Fleetwood Sonora Tan or Arizona Beige? Grade "A-" PP #2306G7
