Grade B levels (Driver Grade Level) = Pretty Good "Driver" Condition (B++) , Good /OK "Driver" Condition (B+) / Average condition/fair condition (B) . Poor (C, C+). All "B" & "C" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade (See other listings for those). Ratings are based on the visual appeal of the wheel cover as well as the physical condition of the metal...but not paint (if applicable). The highlighted BLUE section (above) shows the wheel cover grade for this listing. ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE : 1974-1978 Eldorado (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD 15" steel rims). ITEM CONDITION : This auction is for ONE wheel cover in Grade "B+" condition , per the ranking scale listed above. This quality range is considered " GOOD DRIVER GRADE ". Wheel covers in this range still carry some visual appeal along with several noted flaws. Two-thirds of this wheel cover is in great condition, while the other 1/3 had one bad moment in life when it apparently met up with a curb. The part that you see mostly-- The large circular Center Face - is Excellent. Very nice reflective surface, no nicks or creases, etc. A color-restored Cadillac Crest and an original chrome Wreath adorn the Center and look pretty sharp! The damage starts at the Center's Crown Edge (upper left corner of wheel cover) where it scraped a curb (this damage runs into the flattened area in Outer Perimeter Edge at the top of the wheel cover). The Crown has metal wobble in this region, as shown. It fits on a rim fine, with a touch of rim rise at the flat spot. Overall it's a mixed bag of Great and Fair things, so it's earned a rating in the "B" to "B+" zone of my grading scale. Caddypartz pictures are among the best on eBay! Taken very close up, from all angles, and in colorful high resolution. The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. K eep your expectations realistic, this is a 50+year old wheel cover with lower than average use characteristics. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1971-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
