ORIGINAL 1970'S (AMERICAN MADE) FACTORY CADILLAC PARTS~~ WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION : Grade A levels= Pretty Good (A--), Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent (A/A-), Excellent (A). Grade B levels= " Driver grade " -- OK/ Good/presentable shape (B+, B++ ), average condition/Fair condition (B). The "B" Grades level wheel covers will have more extensive & visible damage. ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE : 1972-1973 Eldorado. This Wheel Cover is from a 1972 Eldorado - it has the open rear slot at the base of the horizontal vanes. ITEM CONDITION : This auction is for a single (ONE) wheel cover in Grade "B++" condition , per the ranking scale listed above. This quality range is considered "GOOD DRIVER GRADE". GOOD DRIVER CONDITION wheel covers have some decent visual appeal but also have some visible damage to go along with that. The outer rim is in Excellent Condition, with just 1 or 2 faint mallet dimples. NO curb rashing on the outer perimeter rim. The spokes/vanes are in Excellent Condition -- nice and straight, with very good paint retention. The Center Face and Crown Edge is where the damage is located. The "left side" great, except for a light crease line on the lower left outer crown. The "right side" scuffed a curb or something, as there is some random rash scratches, along with some faint metal wobble at the outer crown peak. Overall it's pretty shiny, not dulled with age. NOTE: This version has the open back design near the perimeter rim . IF YOU NEED SOMETHING NICER, HEAD TO MY e-BAY STORE, WHERE I HAVE MANY MORE AVAILABLE ("A" Grade ranges are the nicest ones). The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. K eep your expectations realistic, this is a 50+ year old wheel cover with medium-heavy use characteristics. NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1971-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
