Grade B levels (Driver Grade Level) = Pretty Good "Driver" Condition (B++) , Good /OK "Driver" Condition (B+) / Average condition/fair condition (B) . Poor (C, C+). All "B" & "C" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade (See other listings for those). Ratings are based on the visual appeal of the wheel cover as well as the physical condition of the metal...but not paint (if applicable). The highlighted BLUE section (above) shows the wheel cover grade for this listing. ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE : 1972 1973 Eldorado (Donor Vehicle was a 1972 Eldorado). ITEM CONDITION : This auction is for ONE wheel cover in Grade "B" condition , per the ranking scale listed above. This quality range is considered " FAIR DRIVER GRADE ". Wheel covers in this range are some/OK visually appeal with several noted moderate flaws. Items in this range are usually "well traveled" or have moderate damage. The Perimeter Outer Rim is where some of the damage is located. In my opinion there is a slight bend (out of round) to the Perimeter Rim. I've notice that if you put it on a particular way (noted on backside) that it does go on better and seems to retain ok. The horizontal vanes are straight and correctly spaced (not mashed), but 3 of the lower ones are missing (cut off to work around lead wheel weights apparently). The Center Face (what you mostly see) is actually Excellent - to dings, dents, etc....just some light storage scratches. The Outer Crown (outside of the Center Face) has some random curb scratches/metal wobble , but roughly holds it's original visual shape. Retaining tabs are all there and look good - none missing. Overall this wheel cover is somewhat presentable ( OK/ Fair Condition ) but not in the upper tiers of quality. IF YOU NEED SOMETHING NICER, HEAD TO MY e-BAY STORE, WHERE I HAVE MANY MORE AVAILABLE ("A" Grade ranges are the nicest ones). The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. K eep your expectations realistic, this is a 50+ year old wheel cover with medium-heavy use characteristics. NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1971-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
