MES SAGE ME. ** ** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world.....they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels= Pretty Good (A--), Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent or Excellent ( A/A- or A) / Show Quality (A+). Grade B levels (Driver Grade Level) = Average condition/fair condition (B-, B) / Good shape (B+) / Pretty Good (B++). All "B" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade.. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal, not paint (if applicable). COMPATABILITY: 1967-1978 (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD rims ONLY). ITEM DETAILS: This auction is for FOUR wheel covers . All 4 of them are rated in the "A/A-", which is pretty prime! The color is the rare and beautiful "Saffron", which was only used in 1977. These are completely original and have never been repainted. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Upper "A" Grade wheel covers will not have much damage...they are well above average condition and usually have 1-2 minor flaws - some that you might not even see. The "A/A-" grade is considered "Near Excellent". Three of these wheel covers came from the same car (53K car), I added a matching 4th one to the set since the original 4th one had a big dent. Definitely this Saffron set is destined to be on a really prime vintage Eldorado~! All of the wheel covers have restore crest with bold coloring. The wreaths are all very shiny. The polished stainless steel portions of the wheel cover are brilliantly shiny as well. Amazing survivor set! Regarding damage - Assume everything is either very good or excellent on each wheel cover except for what is mentioned below. #1807A A/A- Slight scratching/metal wobble/rash at top right of center crown. Awesome shine! Slight decal lift behind emblems. #2108D1 A/A- Faint crown soft dimple on right side edge, and scratch line below that along the bottom. Slight decal lift under upper right wreath end. #2108D3 A/A- Random stone nicks on side of crown. Slight lift of Saffron decal at top right. #2108D4 A/A- Random stone nicks on side of crown. Slight life of Saffron Decal at lower left and below crest. (DUAL) The wheel covers were test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc. A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have wheel balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1967-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
