** WE ARE CURRENTLY PARTING OUT 1971 1972 1973 1975 AND 1976 ELDORADO CONVERTIBLES, CHECK OUT ALL OF THE GREAT PARTS IN OUR OTHER AUCTIONS~! ** ** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world.....they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels= Good Condition (A--) , Very Good Condition (A-) , Near Excellent (A/A-), or Excellent (A). Grade B levels (Driver Grade Level) = Average condition/fair condition (B) / Good shape (B+) / Pretty Good Daily Driver Grade (B++). All "B" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal, not paint (if applicable). ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE: 1977, 1978 (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD rims). COLOR NOTES: I'm not sure exactly what color this is. Appears to be a greenish-blue? A faded blue? Maybe a faded 1978 Thyme Green (see Eldorado picture)? Wheel cover pics were taken outdoors in "Warmer" light. ITEM DETAILS: This auction is for ONE (1) wheel cover , overall in "Grade A-- " shape. DESCRIPTION: This particular wheel cover (#1712B3) is a decent replacement wheel cover for your Eldorado. It has it's share of SMALL issues but is still presentable. The outer perimeter rim is really good...just a bit of scratching on the top left. The spokes are excellent, straight and true. The outer crown has some random curb rash/ surface scratching...on the far bottom and the upper left. Metal seems to be almost straight though. The Center Face is actually really nice - the colored decal is on nice and tight, not peeling off. Coloring is nice and even. I refreshed the colors on the Cadillac crest so that they look sharp again. The Chrome wreath has a strong shine, with minimal age characteristics. This is a decent budget priced Eldo wheel cover that can still get the job done for you~! The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. K eep your expectations realistic (LOW!), this is a 45 year old wheel cover with moderate use characteristics. See my other auctions for more individual 1967-68 Eldorado wheel covers. NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1967-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
