MES SAGE ME. ** ** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world.....they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels= Pretty Good (A--), Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent or Excellent ( A/A- or A) / Show Quality (A+). Grade B levels (Driver Grade Level) = Average condition/fair condition (B-, B) / Good shape (B+) / Pretty Good (B++). All "B" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade.. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal, not paint (if applicable). COMPATABILITY: 1967-1978 (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD rims ONLY). ITEM DETAILS: This auction is for ONE wheel cover , rated at A/A- (which is pretty prime! The color is the rare and beautiful "Saffron", which was only used in 1977. This cover is completely original and has never been repainted. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Upper "A" Grade wheel covers will not have much damage...they are well above average condition and usually have 1-2 very minor flaws - some that you might not even see. The "A/A-" grade is considered "Near Excellent". The donor car had a mere 53K miles on it. Definitely this Saffron gem is destined to be on a really prime vintage Eldorado~! Regarding damage - ( #1807A) The Outer Perimeter is excellent, no rash and no hammer dents of consequence. The Spokes are excellent as well, all straight and true. The Outer Crown has a line of surface rash scratching at the top/top right are. The Center Face is excellent....strong and even coloring. The Saffron decal is not peeling up at the outer sides (common). There is a bubble up under the emblem area. The Cadillac Crest has been color restored and looks bold & beautiful. The Wreath is shiny with a couple of black dots on it. The polished areas of the wheel cover are very reflective. Overall this wheel cover is "Near Excellent" and should look incredible on your Eldorado. The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc. A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have wheel balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1967-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
