** WE ARE CURRENTLY PARTING OUT 1971 1972 1973 1975 AND 1976 ELDORADO CONVERTIBLES, CHECK OUT ALL OF THE GREAT PARTS IN OUR OTHER AUCTIONS~! ** ** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world.....they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels= Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent or Excellent (A/A- or A) / Show Quality (A+). Grade B levels (Driver Grade Level) = Average condition/fair condition (B) / Good shape (B+) / Pretty Good (B++) . All "B" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade.. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal, not paint (if applicable). ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE: 1969, 1970 (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD rims). ITEM DETAILS: This auction is for ONE (1) wheel cover , overall in Grade " B++ " shape....It came off of a 1970 Eldorado hardtop. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Upper "B" level wheel covers will have lower prices than "A" grades but also a little more damage....perhaps a balance point for a budget conscious restoration or daily driver. This decently presentable wheel cover looks pretty good from a few feet back....thus the B++ rating. Regarding damage - The Center Face is nice and shiny (this is mainly what you see). Barely any faint scratches in all of those years! The Crown Edge is in really Good shape too - it doesn't have common curb rash, but there are a few scuff lines here or there. The Spokes are all there and straight. The Perimeter Rim is OK - Looks like (left side of wheel cover) nicked a curb briefly and has some random areas of some scuffs/nicking/metal wobble. The entire right half of the hubcap's outer rim is Excellent. The crest was removed and color-restored - so it's looking bold. Once again, it's a good looking cover from a short distance but has some minor cosmetic issues - mainly on the thin left perimeter rim.
