** WE ARE CURRENTLY PARTING OUT 1971 1972 1973 1975 AND 1976 ELDORADO CONVERTIBLES, CHECK OUT ALL OF THE GREAT PARTS IN OUR OTHER AUCTIONS~! ** ** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world.....they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels= Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent (A/A-) / or Excellent (A). "Driver B-Grade" levels = Average condition/fair condition (B) / Good shape (B+) / Pretty Good (B++). All "B" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade.. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal, not paint (if applicable). ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE: 1969, 1970 ITEM DETAILS: This auction is for ONE (1) wheel cover , overall in Grade " A/A- " shape. PHYSICAL CONDITION: The A/A- Rating usually indicates a wheel cover that looks very presentable and will have a very small cosmetic blemish or two...typically it's not that readily seen. Regarding specific condition -- The Perimeter Rim is in Nearly Excellent Condition! It's perfect except for a 3 small hammer nicks. No curb scrapes or rashing, etc. The spokes are in Excellent Condition as well -- all straight and true, none broken, bent or missing. The Outer Crown is beautiful as well, in Very Very Good Condition. Just a little scratching in the upper right area, and that trickles into the Crown Face (the area inside of the circles). The Outer Crown does not have any major curb scrapes or dents, etc. The Center Face - which is what you mostly see, is Very Good. It's Shiny, smooth, etc. There are a few surface scratches in the upper right, adjacent to the ones on the Outer Crown. If you buff those out, then this wheel cover is perfect. The Cadillac Crest is in great shape too, it's been color-restored so that it looks bold and beautiful. This is a nice survivor (54 years old!) that is in well above average shape...it's in Near Excellent Condition, and visually that is superb. The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. K eep your expectations realistic, this is a 50+ year old wheel cover with light use characteristics. NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1967-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
